Different Poetry Writing Contest where the prizes are that you can have published a book of your poems and be considered to be part of a CD in a song with collaborators.
Poetry Writing Contest with a difference in which the challenge is to put together a small book of poems that you can then get published though our book publishing division, and have it there on sale for you. The real difference will be that for this Poetry writing contest it will be an ongoing process, where the prize or prizes come out of being the ones selected by our collaborators to have a song created from the published items.
 This poetry writing contest is quite different from others in the fact that all of you can become winners through just being part of the challenge, for you can create your own book to sell. Further to this poetry writing contest is providing a way into what is called a collaboration agreement, to have a song put out on CD and for digital download.
This poetry writing contest will have to have rules that will be provided to all those that would like to be part of it. So in this poetry writing contest is not just about writing one poem. Though if you do have a great poem that you have written (not somebody else’s) that you would like to have viewed, then you can contact us.
In the average poetry writing contest just one or a few get prizes, and often the poems get published but no money comes to the writer (though things are changing a bit now). So what we are proposing as a Poetry writing contest is about making things fairer for all.
Yes I have been in more than one poetry writing contest, and in the end through our own system of collaboration one of the poems I wrote “Light up the Candle of your Life” became part of a song “Light up the Candle” as part of a CD and digital download.
There is no end to the possibilities that could come out of an entry into a poetry writing contest.
